Our minimum booking is three hours, which suits an apartment in Azizi Riviera or Sobha Crest Grande well. A townhouse in MAG City needs longer, and a District One villa longer again. Tell us the community and the bedroom count and we will give you an honest number rather than a standard slot.

Two or three visits a week is the most common pattern with our Meydan customers. For a townhouse or a villa it is usually the better way round: shorter visits more often keeps a big home even, where one long visit a week means it is spotless on Monday and gone again by Thursday.

Washing and ironing can be part of the same visit — washed, ironed, folded and put away, done the way you like it. Tell us once and the same maid will do it that way every time.

If your home is newly handed over or there is still building work nearby, expect sills, tracks and glass to need more attention than they would in a settled community. Say so when you book and we will build the time in rather than rushing it at the end.

We are careful about who we send into your home. Our part-time maids are Filipino ladies, each with a minimum of five years working as domestic staff in the Middle East, and every Filipino maid we hire goes through a thorough vetting process before she joins us. We check that she genuinely knows how to clean properly and how to handle the equipment, that her English is good enough to understand what you ask for and tell you what she has done, and that she is someone you will be glad to have in your home every week.

Every cleaner who comes to you is employed directly by Lavender Housecare, with a valid Emirates ID and residence visa. We do not subcontract. It is why our staff get through building security without a problem, and why we can promise you the same person every visit.

Meydan is several separate communities rather than one, and they are not alike. District One is large villas on big plots; MAG City is townhouses; Azizi Riviera and Sobha Crest Grande are apartment buildings. Which one you are in decides how long a visit takes far more than the bedroom count does.

Most of Meydan is also relatively new, and newer communities generate a particular kind of work: handover cleans, and the fine construction dust that keeps arriving from whatever is still being built nearby. It settles on sills, tracks and glass faster than it does in a finished area.
